Eric P. Zine, Esq., CFP®

Eric Zine is the Founder and President of Elm Tree Capital. He is a 12-year veteran of the wealth management industry, with experience in some of the industry’s most recognized firms.
Eric earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant University and his Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. He earned his J.D. from New England Law | Boston and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar to practice law. He is a member of the American and Massachusetts Bar Associations.
Eric is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner and is Series 7, 31, 63 and 65 certified with FINRA and NASAA. He holds the Life, Variable Annuity, Accident and Health insurance licenses.
Eric strives to exceed clients’ expectations and prides his practice on integrity, work ethic, professionalism, and competency. In addition to meeting the strict and rigorous requirements to attain the CFP® certification, he has agreed to abide by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standard’s (CFP Board) strict Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards, to put his client’s interests first. Eric is required to complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain good standing with the CFP Board. He also voluntarily attends the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Estate Planning and Elder Care Law programs.
Eric is a South Shore native, and now makes his home in Canton with his wife and son. When not assisting clients, he is passionate about spending quality time with his family, golfing, playing basketball, reading, and physical fitness. He is active within the community and is presently vice-chairman of the Town of Canton Finance Committee.
